Job summary

NTT DATA, Europe & LATAM, Branch in USA, Inc. is seeking a Business Analyst to join our Virginia team. The role requires bilingual Spanish and English proficiency, strong analysis, and experience documenting business processes and requirements.

You will work with Concession and Product Owner to translate business needs into clear tickets, dashboards, and reports, and collaborate across teams to enhance service quality in a global environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of successful experience in similar roles.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analysis or related field
• OCR systems experience is a plus.
• Experience with tollway systems (back-office and highway equipment) is a plus.
• Experience with CRMs, specifically Microsoft Dynamics, is a plus.
• Experience with business process mapping, requirements gathering and documentation of enhancements.
• Experience in creating SLA reports and detailed service performance reports.
• Strong knowledge of Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint and Visio.

Responsibilities

• Engage with multiple levels of the client organization to align with global standards.
• Document business processes, requirements, and enhancement requests with the Concession and Product Owner.
• Ensure tickets have detailed business requirements and proper categorization.
• Monitor ticket status with relevant teams and stakeholders.
• Develop and integrate reports/dashboards using SQL and Power BI.
• Assist Concession Analysts with ad hoc data queries and application usage.
• Collaborate with management to improve service quality.

Responsibilities:

• Engage with multiple levels of organization and customer organizations to ensure business needs are addressed and aligned with global standards.
• Work closely with the Concession and the Product Owner to understand and document business processes, requirements, and enhancement requests.
• Make sure Tickets have enough business/requirement details to work on.
• Make sure tickets are assigned to appropriate environment/component and are categorized correctly.
• Assign appropriate group/person to work on tickets.
• Monitor Jira ticket status:
  • Communicate with Concession for the status of the ticket or to collect more info.
  • Communicate with Operations and Maintenance (O&M) Team to monitor the progress of the tickets.
  • Work with Site Product Manager/Service Manager to review the Evidence or proposed solutions.
• Reporting: Integrate new reports and dashboards (SQL/Power BI), update current reports and dashboards.
• Help Concession Analysts with any ad hoc query pull for their analysis, as well as in the use of the application.
• Collaborate with the management team to continually improve the quality of service.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of successful experience in similar roles.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analysis or related field
• Experience with OCR systems is a plus.
• Experience in tollway systems (back-office systems, but also know about highway-level equipment, devices, and main functionality), is a plus.
• Experience with CRMs, specifically Microsoft Dynamics, is a plus.
• Experience with business processes mapping, business requirement gathering and enhancement requests identification and documentation.
• Experience in creating SLA reports, capable of producing detailed and clear reports that reflect service performance, identify areas for improvement, and facilitate strategic decision-making.
• Strong knowledge of standard Microsoft software applications, i.e. Word, Excel, Microsoft Project, PowerPoint and Visio required.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English.
• Experience with Jira
• Experience with SQL Language
• Experience in creating reports/dashboards with Power BI.
• Outstanding verbal, written, and communication skills in both business and IS environments.
• Proven track record of working with complex system environments.
• Excellent team building skills - this position will heavily rely on collaborating with other groups.
