Job summary

The Matlen Silver Group, Inc. is seeking a Business Analyst to contribute to the evaluation, design, development and implementation of standardized reporting, business processes and information systems solutions.

The contractor will handle project management from inception to completion and will develop and maintain dashboards for projects and programs. The role emphasizes acting as a strategic partner, developing category performance, tracking trends, and delivering actionable recommendations

Qualifications

• Experience gathering business requirements to configure, deploy, and manage surveys on the Qualtrics platform.
• Hands-on experience with JavaScript and CSS for custom survey design/creatives.
• Ability to create analytic models, scorecards, and dashboards to support VoC programs and track customer satisfaction KPIs.
• Experience conducting competitive analysis, benchmarking, and process improvement projects based on customer feedback.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration skills and ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations/storytelling for stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead all phases of a project's life cycle including defining the business need, establishing criteria and business requirements, understanding the impact to the business and designing and rolling out the project.
• Serve as a subject matter expert and perform research and/or analysis within assigned projects or category of business.

Job Description

The contractor contributes to the evaluation, design, development and implementation of standardized reporting, business processes and information systems solutions. The contractor will handle all aspects of project management from inception to completion. The contractor will develop and maintain business strategies, dashboards for projects, initiatives and/or categories. The contractor will act as a strategic thought partner on issues facing the business. This assignment will develop and track category and program performance as well as monitor trends.

Key Tasks

• Lead all phases of a project's life cycle including defining the business need, establishing criteria and business requirements, understanding the impact to the business and designing and rolling out the project
• Serve as a subject matter expert and perform research and/or analysis within assigned projects or category of business

Must Haves

• Ability to create analytic models, scorecards, and dashboards to support Voice of the Customer (VoC) programs and track customer satisfaction KPIs (e.g., LTUA scores, NPS).
• Experience conducting competitive analysis, benchmarking, and process improvement projects based on customer feedback.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration skills and ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations/storytelling for stakeholders.

Nice to Haves

• Retail industry experience in CX, analytics, or business intelligence.
• Proficiency with SQL and Google BigQuery (GBQ).

Education

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Marketing, Data Analytics, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

Years of Experience

• Minimum 2+ years of professional experience in analytics, business intelligence, or customer experience.
