Job Description:

The client is seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Business Analyst to join the agency based in Atlanta, Georgia.

Complete Description:

Duties and responsibilities:

1. Self-starter with demonstrated ability to take initiative, work independently, and drive projects with minimal supervision.
2. Gather, analyze, and define business requirements by engaging with stakeholders, understanding technical needs, and documenting key business processes.
3. Develop process models, workflows, screen designs, and storyboards to support system design and business functionality.
4. Lead and facilitate requirement elicitation sessions and stakeholder discussions to ensure business needs are accurately captured.
5. Document business requirements in a suitable format that communicates the specific functionality that will be developed for the product and obtains appropriate approvals.
6. Articulate, communicate, and coordinate with UI/UX, app development, backend, CMS, testing, and other subject matter experts on design & development.
7. Work closely with the applications manager to create and maintain product roadmaps, epics, user stories, use cases, and other product documentation.
8. Write test cases based on wireframes, comps, and functional requirements.
9. Assist in System Integration Testing by closely working with the testing team to validate business requirements, review and create test cases, and assist in identifying and resolving defects related to content, layout, functionality, and usability.
10. Assist user acceptance testing (UAT) by coordinating testing efforts, engaging business users, and ensuring final validation before release.
11. Manage and maintain all requirements materials and traceability matrices.
12. Ability to write queries using SQL and compile data and reports as needed.
13. Help Desk support as needed to support production applications.
14. Must be able to multi-task and support time-sensitive deadline-driven deliverables.

Skills:

1. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, MIS, Engineering, or related fields. Required
2. Experience as a Business Analyst. 7 Years Required
3. Experience as a BA/QA Analyst. 3 Years Required
4. Extremely detail-oriented, organized, structured, analytical, and logical, with strong problem-solving skills. Required
5. Excellent oral, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills. Required
6. Experience across SDLC, including requirements, design, development, testing, documentation, training, deployment, operations, support, & maintenance. Required
7. Ability to work well with business unit SMEs, Business Analysts, vendors, and end users in cross-functional teams. Required
8. Track record of meeting or exceeding client expectations, personal performance expectations, and achieving project goals. Required
