Job Summary
We are seeking a talented Business Analyst to join our team, focusing on developing application insights through the effective use of business intelligence (BI) tools. This role requires a deep understanding of data analysis and visualization, working proactively with stakeholders to drive data-informed decision-making. A key aspect is identifying and aligning business objectives with platform performance, experience, and functionality, while delivering insights that expand customer self-service, retention, and expansion.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver actionable insights using BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker, and SQL to support business objectives.
- Establish platform feature/function launch benchmarks, KPI measurement plans, and evaluation metrics.
- Conduct analyses on customer behavior, application performance, and operational efficiency to extract meaningful insights for improvements.
- Align business objectives with platform performance to meet stakeholder needs and enhance user experience.
- Provide insights into platform features to expand customer self-service, improve retention, and foster growth.
- Define and track KPIs aligned with organizational goals, sharing impactful insights.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to facilitate data-driven decision-making through effective presentation of findings.
- Lead data modeling and visualization efforts, ensuring quality control and data governance.
- Engage with data engineers and IT teams to improve data pipeline efficiency.
- Align insights with the company’s BI strategy and reporting schedules (daily, weekly, monthly).
Required Qualifications
- At least 3 years of experience in business analysis focused on BI tools and application insights.
- Proficiency with Power BI, Tableau, Looker, and SQL for dashboards and reports.
- Strong SQL skills for data querying and manipulation.
- Excellent communication skills for requirements gathering and presenting findings.
- Ability to define, track, and align KPIs with organizational goals.
- Experience leading data modeling, visualization, and ensuring data quality and governance.
- Ability to collaborate with data engineers and IT teams to improve data pipelines.
- Skills in identifying process gaps, recommending solutions, and managing their implementation.
- Proficiency with PCs and Microsoft Office.
- Experience presenting to senior leadership and influencing strategic decisions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with machine learning, predictive analytics, or AI-driven insights.
- Knowledge of banking, finance, or marketing analytics domains.
- Experience aligning insights with broader BI strategies and reporting cadences.
- Familiarity with customer behavior and application performance analytics.
- Passion for expanding customer self-service and retention strategies.
- Exposure to automation and self-service BI initiatives.
- Understanding of commercial banking products and digital platforms.

Compensation & Benefits
Base salary ranges from $61,000 to $75,000 annually, depending on location and experience. Additional incentives may apply. Click here for benefits details.
