Job Details

Responsibilities

• Work closely with stakeholders across all levels of the organization to understand their business needs and translate them into functional and non-functional requirements.
• Drive the development and implementation of new systems and processes to enhance our business operations, with a particular focus on mortgage lending and integrations.
• Lead the testing and QA processes to ensure the successful implementation of new systems and enhancements, identifying and resolving any issues that arise.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including business requirements documents, functional specifications, process flows, and user guides.
• Conduct in-depth analysis of our business operations and performance, identifying opportunities for improvement and making recommendations for strategic initiatives.
• Facilitate communication between the technical team and non-technical stakeholders, acting as a bridge to ensure mutual understanding and alignment.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in the tech services industry, leveraging this knowledge to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
  
  

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science or a related field. A master's degree would be considered an asset.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a business analyst role, ideally within the tech services industry.
• Extensive experience with mortgage lending and integrations.
• Strong knowledge of development processes and methodologies.
• Proven experience in testing and QA, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality.
• Solid understanding of REST API and API.
• Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable business insights.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and influence decision-making at all levels of the organization.
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and develop innovative solutions to complex business challenges.
• Professional certification in Business Analysis would be considered an asset.
