Job summary

United Franchise Group in West Palm Beach, FL seeks a data-driven BI Specialist to design and deliver insights powering revenue growth across our global brands. You will build dashboards, integrate data via APIs, and support performance with advanced Excel and Python tooling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent from four-year college or university; or two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proven experience with Power BI, advanced DAX, and data modeling.
• Proficiency in Python for data analysis, including Pandas and NumPy.
• Strong understanding of financial analysis and operational metrics.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain dynamic BI dashboards leveraging advanced DAX, data modeling, and sophisticated algorithms to deliver insights for all UFG brands and departments.
• Data integration & Python analytics: Extract data via APIs, transform in Python (Jupyter Notebook), and integrate outputs into BI solutions using Pandas/NumPy.
• Analyze franchise revenue trends, optimize profitability, and measure franchisee success metrics.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure BI solutions align with strategic goals.
• Enhance data models and queries for maximum efficiency, scalability, and performance.
• Provide guidance and training to stakeholders on BI tools and data interpretation to foster a data-driven culture.
• Utilize Power Query, pivot tables, complex formulas, and automation to build dynamic financial models and dashboards.
• Prepare comprehensive Item 19 Earnings Claims reports to support franchise disclosure compliance.

About the Role:

In this role, you'll work at the intersection of data, technology, and business strategy—designing powerful BI solutions that uncover trends, highlight opportunities, and measure performance across our diverse portfolio of global brands. Your work will directly support revenue growth, operational efficiency, and franchisee success, helping us shape the future of our business through a truly data-driven approach.

Key Responsibilities:

• Power BI Expertise: Design, develop, and maintain dynamic BI dashboards leveraging advanced DAX, data modeling, and sophisticated algorithms to deliver insights for all UFG brands and departments.
• Data Integration & Python Analytics: Extract data via APIs, perform data transformation in Python using Jupyter Notebook, and integrate outputs into BI solutions using libraries like Pandas and NumPy.
• Financial & Operational Analysis: Analyze franchise revenue trends, optimize profitability, and measure franchisee success metrics.
• Business Partnership: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure BI solutions align with strategic goals.
• Performance Optimization: Enhance data models and queries for maximum efficiency, scalability, and performance.
• Training & Support: Provide guidance and training to stakeholders on BI tools and data interpretation to foster a data-driven culture.
• Advanced Excel Reporting: Utilize Power Query, pivot tables, complex formulas, and automation to build dynamic financial models and dashboards.
• Compliance & Reporting: Prepare comprehensive Item 19 Earnings Claims reports to support franchise disclosure compliance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree (B. A., B.B.A., or B.S.) or equivalent from four-year college or university; or Associate's degree (A. A. or A.S.) or equivalent from two-year college or Accounting and Finance school; or two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proven experience with Power BI, advanced DAX, and data modeling.
• Proficiency in Python for data analysis, including Pandas and NumPy.
• Strong understanding of financial analysis and operational metrics.
• Skilled in advanced Excel reporting and automation.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
