United Franchise Group is seeking an Operations Advisor to support The Great Greek Mediterranean Grill franchisees across the region. You will train, guide, and ensure profitability while coordinating openings and ongoing operations.

The role requires extensive travel (70–80%), strong command of Microsoft Office, scheduling software, and POS systems, plus a valid driver’s license. Join a team focused on growth, training, and brand excellence.

Qualifications

Associate's degree or equivalent in education or training, or 2–4 years related experience.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and scheduling software.
Experience with POS software and basic finance concepts.
Eligible driver’s license and valid auto insurance required.
A credit card with available limit to cover expenses and willingness to travel 70–80%.

Responsibilities

Provide franchisee training and support during store openings and ongoing operations.
Coordinate pre-opening schedules, training, shift control, and daily paperwork.
Communicate with Operations Manager and staff to track milestones and delays.
Travel to stores regularly and monitor performance to uphold brand standards.
Assist in planning regional meetings and maintain reports in Outlook.
Advise on best practices for controllables and operational improvement.

About the Role

The Great Greek Mediterranean Grill is a fast-growing, fast-casual restaurant concept that brings the bold, vibrant flavors of the Mediterranean to today's diners. Rooted in authentic, family-inspired recipes, the brand is known for its fresh, made-to-order dishes, including savory gyros, grilled souvlaki, crisp salads, and flavorful spreads—all prepared with high-quality ingredients.

The Operations Advisor provides franchisees with industry training and support in assigned region while driving profitability, as well as being part of new store launches.

Implement franchisee store startup program, including operational training and marketing assessments.
Maintains a high level of knowledge and skill in all areas of operations and training.
Contacts franchise owner consistently prior to and after opening. Works with Franchisee regarding pre- opening schedule, training, shift control, scheduling, order & daily/nightly paperwork.
Communicate with the Operations Manager and other necessary personnel throughout the opening process sharing the status of opening-related milestones, potential delays or other opening-related issues.
Maintains regular follow-up to restaurants post open and visits stores that are not performing well
Works with the Operations Manager to develop plan of action to address deficiencies and ensure brand standards are met.
Visits all stores at a minimum of two (2) times per year.
Increase operational standards through guidance, training, and improving management skills.
Trains and reinforces franchisees and store employees comply with franchise model and systems.
Instructs franchisees and store employees on safe operation and handling of equipment and products.
Advise on best practices for controllables
Consults with franchisee to ascertain and define need or area of opportunity, and determine scope of
investigation required to obtain solution.
Advises Support Department on issues identified through communication with franchisees.
Follows up with franchisee on behalf of Support Department.
Compiles brand compliance data and helps franchisees upgrade their image.
Assists corporate with planning regional meetings
Completes, maintains, and processes required paperwork, records and daily reports.
Maintains daily and weekly schedule in Microsoft Outlook (minimum of two weeks in advance).
Travels 70-80% in and outside Region.

Qualifications

Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Internet Explorer or Google Chrome, and scheduling software. Point-of-sale (POS) software.
Eligible driver's license and valid automobile insurance is required
A credit card with an available credit limit to cover expenses
Strong background in related industry
Restaurant Training operations experience and the ability to read a profit and loss
Must be able to travel an average of 70-80% of the time
