This role will be remotely based. We are unable to provide sponsorship for work authorization for this role.

We’re seeking a Business Analyst who will serve as the critical link between business teams (like Product, Sales, and Marketing) and our technical developers. In this role, you’ll analyze business needs, translate them into clear technical requirements, and ensure solutions align with user expectations and business goals. Your responsibilities include data analysis, process streamlining, testing support, and documentation, playing a key role in product development that drives growth.

Responsibilities:
  1. Requirements Elicitation & Documentation: Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders across departments. Translate these into user stories, use cases, process flows, and specifications.
  2. Product Development Support: Collaborate with product managers, designers, and developers throughout the SDLC to ensure requirements are understood and implemented correctly. Participate in sprint activities.
  3. Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze data to identify trends and develop reports, dashboards, and visualizations for stakeholders, potentially using SQL or other data tools.
  4. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to optimize business processes and develop recommendations for improvements.
  5. User Acceptance Testing (UAT): Develop test plans and facilitate UAT to ensure software meets needs.
  6. Stakeholder Management: Build relationships and communicate project updates effectively.
  7. Competitive Analysis: Research market trends and competitor products to inform product offerings.
  8. Documentation & Training: Create and maintain user manuals, training materials, and conduct training sessions.
  9. Problem Solving: Identify and develop solutions for problems, escalating issues as needed.
  10. Contribute to Product Strategy: Provide insights based on market research, user feedback, and data analysis.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 2-5 years' experience as a Business Analyst in SaaS, preferably in food supply chain or logistics.
  • Proficiency in business analysis methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).
  • Strong SQL skills and experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI).
  • Knowledge of SDLC processes and requirements management tools (Jira, Confluence).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in teams, managing multiple projects and priorities.
