Preferred Location: Remote (Must be able to support EST hours)

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced IT Business Analyst to support two key initiatives within our organization. The first project involves the OTM upgrade initiative across three environments, with a goal of successfully completing an on-premises upgrade to OTM version 6.5.3 by year-end. The second project will focus on developing enhancements for our Epes General Commodity business model in OTM. This role requires a strong understanding of business process analysis, communication with cross-functional teams, and the ability to manage customer requirements effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with one customer to gather, define, and document detailed business requirements and specifications.
• Develop a deep understanding of the customer's business to help communicate their needs effectively.
• Facilitate and manage customer meetings, ensuring clear communication and actionable outcomes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve the desired customer outcomes.
• Serve as a consultative advisor, understanding the customer’s needs and working with the support teams to deliver solutions.
• Understand technologies and business processes to analyze and communicate customer requirements to IT for solution development.
• Ability to identify and manage required technical changes or needs through clear communication with business partners.
• Familiarity with Transportation Management Systems (TMS) is a plus.

Education & Experience Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Business Administration (technology focus), or Engineering.
• 3-6 years of comparable experience in IT business analysis.
• Experience in the Logistics or Transportation industry is highly preferred.
• Prior consulting and business solution experience is a plus.
• Experience acting as a liaison between customers, operations, and technology teams.
• Proficiency in both oral and written communication, including documentation, system specifications, and risk management.
• Familiarity with the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) or Application Development Lifecycle, methodologies, and standards.
• Experience implementing Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) version 6.3 or higher is a significant advantage.
