IT Resources seeks an experienced Business Analyst to support a major HR workflow automation initiative, partnering with HR stakeholders and technical teams to modernize processes and translate requirements into actionable development work, with an emphasis on quality through testing and user acceptance.

The role requires strong business analysis, requirements engineering, workflow automation, and QA experience, serving as a bridge between business and technology throughout the project

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, finance, or a related field.
• 6+ years of experience in business analysis, requirements engineering, and quality assurance documentation.
• Experience with workflow automation involving HR systems or government applications.
• Proven ability to elicit requirements, perform As-Is/To-Be analysis, write functional specs, user stories, acceptance criteria, and data requirements.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum delivery, backlog management, QA testing, UAT, and Azure DevOps.

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support a major HR workflow automation initiative. This role will partner closely with HR stakeholders and technical teams to modernize business processes, translate requirements into actionable development work, and help ensure high-quality releases through comprehensive testing and user acceptance.

The ideal candidate brings strong business analysis, requirements engineering, workflow automation, and quality assurance experience. You will serve as a key liaison between business and technology teams throughout the project lifecycle.

• Pay Rate: $55-$60/hr
• Location: Tallahassee, FL | Hybrid, 3 days onsite and 2 days remote
• Employment Type: Contract, November 2026-June 2027 with potential renewal

What You'll Do

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, finance, or a related field.
• 6+ years of experience in business analysis, requirements engineering, and quality assurance documentation.
• Business analysis experience with workflow automation involving HR systems or government applications.
• Demonstrated experience with requirements elicitation, As-Is/To-Be process analysis, functional specifications, user stories, acceptance criteria, and data requirements.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum delivery, backlog management, QA testing, UAT, and Azure DevOps.
