The Opportunity
CCI is seeking a Business Analyst to support our DoD customer in implementing an enterprise IT service delivery model that ensures consistent, secure, high-quality, and cost-effective services to enable mission success and enhance end-user experience across the environment.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a Business Analyst in an Agile/Scrum environment to develop software applications.
- Manage functional and non-functional system requirements, and user stories.
- Translate business objectives into system requirements within a product backlog for iterative development.
- Engage with stakeholders to identify business needs and requirements.
- Communicate business needs effectively to the development team through user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Collaborate with the Scrum Master to establish backlogs, resolve impediments, and define scope.
- Work with stakeholders and the development team during the development cycle to meet customer needs.
- Review and evaluate work to ensure scope is met.
- Lead product demonstrations and report on software iterations.
- Establish processes and mentor less experienced Business Analysts.
Qualifications
Required:
- Experience in developing business processes, capability needs, and requirements.
- Ability to translate requirements into user stories and use cases.
- Experience decomposing large business needs into layered requirements.
- Proficiency in stakeholder interviews and data analysis.
- Knowledge of the software development lifecycle.
- Operational understanding of customer needs and process improvement.
- Experience with estimation techniques and capacity planning.
- Familiarity with Agile Scrum methodologies.
- Proficiency with MS Office tools and SharePoint.
- Adaptability and teamwork skills.
- 10+ years relevant experience or relevant degree substitutions.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Minimum 3 years as a business analyst on software projects.
- Ability to obtain/maintain Secret clearance.
Desired:
- Background in software development.
- Experience with process guides.
- Certifications such as CBAP, Scrum Master, Product Owner.
- Knowledge of BABOK and ServiceNow.

Compensation and Benefits
Salary range: $68,400 - $143,700, influenced by location, experience, skills, and education. We offer comprehensive benefits supporting health, wellness, retirement, and education.
