Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end onboarding for institutional clients across multiple products.
• Support onboarding for Sponsored Repurchase Agreements and U.S. Treasury clearing documentation.
• Partner with Sales to prioritize onboarding requests and manage workflow.
• Coordinate discussions for trading agreements (ISDA, MRA, CDEA, MSFTA).
• Develop expertise in account opening requirements including AML/KYC and entity alignment.
• Ensure milestones meet SLAs and market deadlines; deliver excellent client service.
• Collaborate with Legal, Credit Risk, Operations, Compliance to resolve onboarding issues.
• Maintain accurate documentation and regulatory compliance.
• Identify opportunities to improve onboarding processes and efficiency.

Russell Tobin is seeking a highly organized and client-focused Business Analyst to support a leading financial institution. This role is responsible for managing the client onboarding process for institutional clients, ensuring a seamless account opening experience while partnering with Sales, Legal, Risk, Compliance, and Operations teams. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, thrives in a fast-paced financial environment, has strong communication and organizational skills, and enjoys building relationships while navigating complex onboarding and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end onboarding process for institutional clients across multiple products
• Support onboarding for Sponsored Repurchase Agreements and related documentation for U.S. Treasury clearing
• Partner closely with Sales teams to prioritize client onboarding requests and manage workflow
• Coordinate internal and external discussions to facilitate negotiation of trading agreements, including ISDA, MRA, CDEA, and MSFTA
• Develop expertise in account opening requirements, including AML, KYC, and legal entity alignment
• Ensure onboarding milestones are completed within client service level expectations and market deadlines
• Deliver exceptional client service throughout the onboarding process
• Collaborate with Legal, Credit Risk, Operations, Compliance, and other internal stakeholders to resolve onboarding issues
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with regulatory and internal policies
• Identify opportunities to improve onboarding processes and operational efficiency

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required
• 1–3 years of experience in client service, financial services, banking, or a related environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
• Client-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional service
• General understanding of client onboarding, KYC, AML, or regulatory requirements
• Previous experience with onboarding functions, due diligence, or agreement negotiation is preferred
• Experience with trading agreements such as ISDA, MRA, CDEA, or MSFTA is a plus
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
