Job summary

Innosoft Corporation in Columbia, SC invites an IT Healthcare Consultant - Business Analyst to support the implementation of projects ranging from small to large scales. You will bridge the business programs community and IT, translate requirements into functional specifications, and assist with process redesign and documentation.

Qualifications

• 1 year of business analysis experience with IBM Cúram software.
• 1 year of experience in government IT projects as a business analyst or related duties.
• 1 year’s experience eliciting, mining, and documenting business rules and processes.
• 2 years of Medicaid eligibility or other healthcare insurance experience.

Responsibilities

• Serves as a liaison between the business programs community and the IT organization to provide technical solutions to meet user needs.
• Possesses expertise in the business unit(s) they support, as well as an understanding of the IT organization's systems and capabilities.
• Analyzes business partners' operations to understand strengths and weaknesses and identify automation opportunities.
• Assists in business process redesign and documentation as needed for new technology.
• Conducts efficient requirement gathering sessions with multiple stakeholders to capture business requirements.
• Translates high-level business requirements into functional specifications for IT and manages changes.
• Educates the IT organization on the direction of the business.
• Negotiates agreements and commitments by facilitating communication between business units and IT.
• Understands technological trends and uses this knowledge to bring solutions to business units.
• Requirements development execution, including elicitation, analysis, specification, and validation.
• Documents and analyzes agency business processes and recommends improvements.
• Documents and analyzes data requirements and relationships.
• Participates in requirements management processes, including change control, version control, tracking and status reporting, and traceability.
• Provides requirements interpretation and guidance to technical and test teams.
