Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in technical, business, healthcare, or related field.
• At least 1 year of BA experience with IBM C ram.
• At least 1 year of experience on government IT projects as BA or related role.
• At least 1 year of experience eliciting, mining, and documenting business rules and processes.
• At least 2 years of experience in Medicaid Eligibility or healthcare insurance.
• Strong experience gathering and documenting requirements via stakeholder interviews and policy analysis.
• Knowledge of formal business process documentation and BA methodologies.
• Understanding of business modeling techniques and graphical process-flow documentation.
• Strong ability to develop requirements and use cases.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced IT Healthcare Consultant Business Analyst to support small- to large-scale healthcare technology projects. The ideal candidate will serve as a liaison between business and IT teams, analyze business processes and technical designs, gather and document requirements, and recommend effective technology and process solutions. This role requires strong business analysis, healthcare/Medicaid knowledge, requirements management, and stakeholder communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and IT teams to translate business needs into effective technology solutions.
• Analyze current-state and future-state business processes to identify opportunities for automation, optimization, and improvement.
• Conduct requirements-gathering sessions with multiple stakeholders to elicit, analyze, document, and validate business requirements.
• Translate high-level business requirements into detailed functional specifications and manage changes to requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
• Document business processes, requirements, business rules, data requirements, and relationships.

Required Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications
