Job summary

Innosoft Corp. in Columbia, SC is seeking an IT Healthcare Consultant–Business Analyst (BA) to support implementation of healthcare IT projects.

The role requires liaison skills between business programs and IT, translating business needs into functional specs, and ensuring alignment with Medicaid-related requirements. The position is hybrid (3 days in office, 2 remote) with a 12-month contract duration and a tentative start date of 09/25/2026.

Qualifications

• 1 year of business analysis experience with IBMCúram software.
• 1 year of experience in government IT projects as a business analyst or related duties.
• 1 year’s experience eliciting, mining, and documenting business rules and processes.
• 2 years of Medicaid eligibility or other healthcare insurance experience.

Responsibilities

• Serves as a liaison between the business programs community and the IT organization to provide technical solutions to meet user needs.
• Possesses expertise in the business units they support and an understanding of IT systems and capabilities.

Project Overview

IT Healthcare Consultant-Business Analyst (BA) -Advanced to assist with the implementation of small to large projects

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Servesas a liaison between the business programs community and the ITorganization to provide technical solutions to meet user needs.
  
• Possessesexpertise in the business unit(s) they support, as well as anunderstanding of the IT organization's systems and capabilities.
  
• Analyzesbusiness partners' operations to understand their strengths and weaknessesto determine opportunities to automate processes and functions.
  
• Assistsin the business process redesign and documentation as needed for newtechnology.
  
• Conductsefficient requirement gathering sessions with multiple stakeholders tocapture business requirements.
  
• Translateshigh-level business requirements into functional specifications for the ITorganization and manages changes to such specifications. Educates the ITorganization on the direction of the business.
  
• Negotiatesagreements and commitments by facilitating communication between businessunit(s) and IT from initial requirements to final implementation.
