Programmers.io in New York, NY seeks an experienced Business Analyst to bridge business and technology teams, ensuring requirements are understood and translated into delivery outcomes.

You will lead requirements gathering, model current and future processes, document requirements, and support tests and sign-offs with stakeholders and vendor partners.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of Business Analysis experience in banking or financial services.
• Experience supporting transformation, migration, regulatory, or platform modernization.
• Strong process modeling, requirements management, and stakeholder facilitation skills.
• Familiarity with lending, deposits, payments, KYC/AML, data migration, or core banking operations.
• Experience with Visio, Excel, Jira, Azure DevOps, and requirements management tools.

Role Summary

The Business Analyst acts as the bridge between business stakeholders and technology teams, ensuring business needs are understood, analyzed, documented, and translated into actionable requirements and delivery outcomes.

• Document business, functional, and non-functional requirements.

• Support solution design reviews and validation activities.
• Coordinate SIT/UAT activities and business sign-offs.
• Work closely with business, technology, operations, and vendor partners.

Experience & Skills

• 10+ years of Business Analysis experience within banking or financial services.
• Experience supporting transformation, migration, regulatory, or platform modernization initiatives.
• Strong process modeling, requirements management, and stakeholder facilitation skills.
• Familiarity with lending, deposits, payments, KYC/AML, data migration, or core banking operations.
• Experience with Visio, Excel, Jira, Azure DevOps, and requirements management tools.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
