Job summary

DCM Infotech Limited in the New York City area seeks a skilled Business Analyst/Project Manager to document requirements, define acceptance criteria, and coordinate with vendors and stakeholders on media industry projects.

You will maintain JIRA workflows, write BRDs and test scripts, break down user stories, and drive QA/testing, reporting progress and risks while creating dashboards and insights for business leaders.

Qualifications

• Documentation experience writing BRDs, test scripts, and use cases.
• 5+ years of experience.
• JIRA expertise.
• Ability to break down user stories and analyze usability.
• QA/testing experience including identifying test scenarios.

Responsibilities

• Document and maintain project specifications and acceptance criteria in JIRA.
• Review functional designs with users and define test scenarios.
• Coordinate updates with vendors and stakeholders.
• Receive sign-off on specs and criteria.
• Track sprint progress and update JIRA board.
• Provide application support and review incoming tickets in SNOW.
• Report tickets to vendor and track fixes.
• Translate business requirements into technical specs via interviews and data analysis.
• Create reports, dashboards, and visualizations for stakeholders.
• Identify automation opportunities.

Location:Local to New York City area (onsite role)

we need candidates with experience in Media industry only

Job Responsibilities / Typical Day in the Role

• Documenting and maintaining new Project specs and accurate Acceptance criteria in JIRA and in a formal documentation
• Review Functional design and Acceptance criteria with the users and identify potential test scenarios and update acceptance criteria accordingly.
• Based on stakeholder feedback discussing the updates with the vendor and keeping documentation up to date.
• Receiving sign-off from stakeholders on Functional specs and Acceptance criteria.
• Tracking the Sprint in JRA
• Update JIRA board per the progress made ( Dev, QA testing, Bug reporting/tracking, UAT, release tracing)
• Provide Application support
• Review incoming tickets in SNOW
• Reporting tickets to vendor.
• Tracking the fix on tickets and testing
• Co-ordinating with users on resolutions.
• Document business requirements and translate them to technical requirements through stakeholder interviews, data discovery, and data analysis.
• Maintain the storage and retrieval of all project communications data and business metrics.
• Work with data and project management teams to determine feasibility and design, validate data, and ensure successful deliverables to stakeholders.
• Test business processes and recommend improvements.
• Create reports, dashboards, and visualizations to help stakeholders understand business performance.
• Identify automation opportunities.
• WBD Project Manager will be reasonably available and provide Vendor resource with necessary guidance and goals;
• Vendor personnel will perform services remotely for the duration of the project
• WB will make available necessary SMEs for participation in meetings, workshops, Deliverable reviews and Deliverable sign-off.
• Adjust Design proposal and Acceptance Criteria based on feedback and per discussions with business
• Memorialize design in Functional Design specifications and create Test scripts per the spec and acceptance criteria
• Coordinating with the vendors and users for details on the projects
• Identify and escalation scope changes, issues, and risks
