A leading company in the asset management field is seeking a Business Analyst to join their team. This remote position involves collaboration across departments, focusing on documentation and business requirements gathering for new data initiatives. The preferred candidate will have strong skills in Azure and experience in the asset management or investment management sectors.
Will be embedded into data product for initiatives around discovery for new data projects/products.
Will work across departments and be a master with documentation skills and gathering business requirements.
Great if we saw someone who comes from fund accounting or supported that group as BA. Or corporate general partner in booking, know how to aggregate P&L (profit & loss statements) and knows the data/requirements it takes to aggregate.
This person may also be aligned to an Accounting project spinning up.
Business Requirements and some work around process flows, process maps, (Visio is sample tool, but highly flexible on tooling).
Right now they just have 1 true BA who can go across many initiatives so they need more help with data business requirements and help on the front end intake process.
Azure – must have, unless really interesting without Azure from Asset Management firm.
Industry: must have asset management/investment management experience and really know the business.
Location: ideally in LA office 3 days/week, but can flex on remote PST with some CST flex for top talent. Prefer talent over location.
