SFE is seeking a Business Analyst to work onsite in a multi-city US footprint, including Birmingham, AL. You will gather requirements, document user needs, and design improved IT processes to support business goals.

Responsibilities include analyzing systems, creating detailed specs and user stories, and guiding implementation while coordinating with IT and business teams to ensure smooth post-launch support.

Must Have Technical/Functional Skills:

• Technical Skills: SQL proficiency, proficiency in data modelling, and knowledge of SDLC methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).
• Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze complex data to solve business problems.
• Communication: Strong interpersonal skills to bridge communication between non-technical business users and technical IT teams.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Requirements Gathering: Interviewing stakeholders to identify, document, and analyze business needs.
• System Analysis & Design: Analysing, testing, and troubleshooting computer hardware and software to improve performance.
• Technical Documentation: Creating detailed functional specifications, workflow charts, and user stories for development teams
• Process Improvement: Reviewing existing business processes and designing new, efficient workflows.
• Implementation & Support: Guiding the implementation of new systems, overseeing testing (UAT), and offering post-launch support.
