Job summary

Park Place Technologies is seeking a Business Systems Analyst for our Cleveland HQ, offering a hybrid work model within IT/IS. You will gather requirements, interact with architecture, and support the development lifecycle across applications and packages.

Ideal candidates will have a MIS/Bachelor background and familiarity with integrations and data modeling, contributing to project efforts and testing activities.

Qualifications

• Majors in Business or MIS with interest in systems analysis and project management.
• Knowledge of system integrations and data modeling preferred.

Responsibilities

• Determine business functional and reporting requirements with SMEs.
• Use defined requirements and analysis standards to produce deliverables.
• Interact with the technical architecture team on complex app implementations.
• Provide development team with Business System SME throughout the lifecycle.
• Perform unit and systems testing.
• Plan, coordinate and participate in user acceptance testing.
• Develop business cases with stakeholders.
• Other duties as assigned.

Description

What you’ll be doing:

• Determine business functional and reporting requirements with subject matter experts (SMEs) learning a variety of interviewing and facilitation techniques.
• Utilize defined requirements gathering and analysis standards to produce business analysis deliverables.
• Interact with technical architecture team on complex application implementations.
• Provide the development team with Business System subject matter expertise throughout the development lifecycle.
• Perform unit and systems testing.
• Plan, coordinate and participate in user acceptance testing.
• Develop business cases in partnership with appropriate stakeholders.
• Other duties as assigned.

What we’re looking for:

• Business or MIS majors looking to learn and contribute to systems analysis, systems design and project management for off the shelf package solutions and application development projects.
• Has a working knowledge of system integrations and data modeling preferred.
