Job summary

Tennessee Board of Regents is seeking an adjunct instructor in Business to deliver high-quality instruction across on-ground, online, and hybrid formats. You will collaborate with course leads to ensure consistent student experiences and use the LMS to provide course materials.

You will also prepare syllabi, monitor emails, respond within 48 hours, and complete required reports including attendance, progress, and grades, while upholding college policies.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Business Administration required.
• Flexibility with on-ground, online, hybrid teaching modes.
• Experience with LMS and course material distribution.

Responsibilities

• Teach courses via on-ground, online and hybrid or web-enhanced delivery modes as assigned.
• Work with course leads and/or program coordinators to ensure consistent and equitable student experiences.
• Utilize the College’s learning management system to provide course materials to students.
• Submit updated department syllabus prior to the first day of class.
• Regularly check College email account and department mailbox.
• Respond to emails/messages within 48 hours, except on weekends.
• Complete all required reports, such as attendance, Early Alerts, student progress reports, grade submissions, and administer and return surveys and student outcome assessments by the deadlines.
• Submit final grades for each semester by the deadline established by the Registrar.
• Comply with all College and TBR policies and guidelines.
