Holiday Inn Independence is seeking a part-time Busser for morning shifts to support servers and maintain dining areas. You will help set up buffets, reset tables, and ensure a smooth dining experience for guests.

Responsibilities include stocking tableware, clearing dirty utensils, and adhering to health and safety rules in a fast-paced hotel dining environment. Previous restaurant experience is a plus, and punctuality is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Busser or entry-level role in a restaurant is a plus.
• Ability to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Understanding of hygiene and food safety rules.
• Physical stamina to carry heavy trays and stand long hours.
• Ability to multitask and stay calm in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be punctual and a morning person.

Job description:

We are looking for a part-time mornings Busser to support our wait staff and set up our dining areas. Busser responsibilities include serving plates, glasses and silverware, refilling beverages and cleaning tables. Setting up and tearing down buffet. If you enjoy a fast-paced way of working and want to kickstart your career in the hospitality industry, we’d like to meet you. Ultimately, you will ensure our daily operations run smoothly and our guests have a pleasant dining experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare buffet and dining areas before guests are seated
• Place tableware and condiments on tables
• Remove dirty utensils and replenish, as needed
• Clean and reset tables after guests leave
• Maintain health and safety regulations at all kitchen and dining areas

Skills

• Work experience as a Busser, Food Runner or other entry-level role in a restaurant is a plus
• Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Understanding of hygiene and food safety rules
• Physical ability and stamina to carry heavy trays and stand for long hours
• Ability to multitask and remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment
• Must be a morning person and punctual.
