Job summary

The Mexicano is seeking a diligent Busser to support servers and keep the dining room inviting and clean. Your role helps ensure each table is ready for guests with timely setup and smooth turnover.

You will communicate guest needs, uphold sanitation standards, and work closely with Front and Back of House teams in a fast-paced setting that rewards reliability, speed, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of experience in a high-volume restaurant environment preferred.
• Strong communication and multitasking skills.
• Positive attitude and team-first mentality.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 20 pounds.
• Availability to work weekdays, weekends, and some holidays.
• Understanding of food safety and sanitation standards.
• Current Food Handler Card.

Responsibilities

• Prepare dining areas before service, including setting silverware, napkins, tableware, and condiments.
• Clear and reset tables quickly and efficiently.
• Remove used dishes, glassware, and utensils throughout service.
• Replenish table settings and guest-requested items as needed.
• Assist with delivering food and supporting service when necessary.
• Serve as a communication link between Front of House and Back of House teams.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the restaurant.
• Follow all health, safety, and sanitation standards.
• Communicate guest needs and requests to the appropriate team members.
