The Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) is seeking dedicated Training and Safety Instructors to deliver high-quality instruction and reinforce safety standards for Metrobus Operators. You will guide learners through classroom and on-street training, using modern tools to create engaging sessions and ensure safe, reliable service across WMATA's network.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent; valid driver’s license.
• Five (5) years of progressively responsible bus operations experience with safe operation.
• Valid Class A or B CDL with passenger endorsements; clean driving record per WMATA requirements.

Aufgaben

• Assess training needs and coordinate with supervisors to plan programs.
• Develop and deliver classroom and in-vehicle operator training.
• Conduct CDL training and testing; requalify operators as needed.
• Mentor employees post-training and monitor progress to address issues.
