Job summary

System One in Pittsburgh, PA, or Strongsville, OH, seeks a Business System Analyst for a six-month assignment to support test planning and delivery.

You will collaborate with SMEs and the project team, develop test scenarios, and stage data to execute tests while guiding testers through kickoff meetings.

Proficiency with Jira, Jira X-Ray, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Outlook, plus familiarity with Agile delivery, is required; Confluence, ServiceNow, Clarizen, and PortfolioWorks are valued.

Qualifications

• Experience using Jira for test planning and tracking.
• Familiarity with Jira X-Ray for test case management.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Experience reading epics and user stories in Agile delivery.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) and project team members.
• Develop and write positive and negative scenarios and test scripts.
• Identify and stage data needed to support the execution of scenarios and test scripts.
• Communicate with testers (includes testing kickoff meetings, providing testing instructions, and following up on incomplete testing and/or any issues reported).
• Facilitate discussions with SMEs, project team, and testers to drive issue resolution.
