Preferred Qualifications Position Summary This position is responsible for providing supervision for the daily operation of the campus transit system. This work involves both direct and indirect oversight of bus operators on routes and during pre/post trip inspections. This position gives support to drivers by communicating and providing guidance to address the needs of bus operators. In addition, this position is also responsible for performing administrative task to include payroll review/approval and providing back-up support for the Transit Dispatcher in their absence. On occasion, this position may operate buses on routes and special charters. Applicants submit to drug and alcohol testing by the US Department of Transportation.
