Job summary

RIDE seeks a hardworking Field Service Technician to diagnose and repair buses/trucks under warranty at customer facilities. You will support the Customer Service Department and perform campaigns required by RIDE or the customer vehicles.

The role involves travel to customer sites in the US and Canada and requires strong field service experience. The ideal candidate has transit bus maintenance knowledge, ASE certifications, and experience with diagnostic tools.

Qualifications

• Two years of transit bus field service experience.
• ASE Transit Bus certifications.
• Experience with computer-based diagnostics in bus maintenance.
• Experience with bus electric drive systems preferred.
• Valid driver's license with minimal infractions; Passenger Endorsement preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnosis and repairs of warranty related issues on buses/trucks.
• Provide customer interface and reports on field maintenance activities.
• Order parts as needed and coordinate repairs.
• Coordinate new vehicle delivery acceptance with customers in the US and Canada.
• Provide daily status reporting to the Customer Service Manager/Supervisor.
• Follow up with Parts clerks for parts availability and ETA.
