Job summary

Model 1 Commercial Vehicles is seeking a Field Service Technician to handle on-site repairs, maintenance, and installations for our vehicle fleet. The role requires diagnosing errors, performing repairs, and achieving an efficiency target while maintaining customer satisfaction.

You will work across the Automotive, Heavy Truck, School Bus, and Transit Bus designations with at least four years’ experience and the ability to obtain a commercial driver's license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum four years’ experience in automotive service facilities.
• Ability to obtain a Commercial Driver's License with passenger and air brake endorsement.
• Ability to pass ASE certification tests.

Responsibilities

• Provide service and customer support during on-site visits.
• Diagnose, test, and repair vehicles utilizing computerized diagnostics equipment.
• Perform inspections and repairs using established procedures.
• Perform light and medium duty repairs in areas including heating/AC, electrical, brakes, drive train, suspension, steering, transmission, and engine.
• Prepare and submit work orders in a timely manner.
• Evaluate products for maintenance, warranty, upgrades, and other purposes.
• Train customers about product usage and maintenance.
• Respond to customer complaints timely and effectively.
• Maintain safety and follow company safety protocol.
