SUMMARY

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Valid state license (CDL) to drive a school bus.
  • Such additional health and age requirements as may be required under State Regulations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Obey all traffic laws.

  • Maintain discipline when students are on the bus.

  • Exercise responsible leadership when on out-of-district school trips.
  • Transport only authorized students.
  • Report all accidents and complete required reports.
  • Enforce regulations against smoking, eating, and drinking on the bus.

EVALUATION

Performance of this job will be evaluated annually in accordance with provisions of the Simpson County Board of Education Policy Manual.
