Responsibilities

Conducts Classroom and behind-the-wheel training to develop and reinforce bus driver skills.
Performs bus driver duties to meet district transportation needs.
Trains new and current drivers on bus operations and safety procedures.
Evaluates driver performance for certification renewal and maintains records.
Rides along with drivers to assess training needs and proficiency.
Responds to bus accidents and assists with evaluations.
Administers driving tests and provides retraining as needed.
Participates in regular in-service training for safety culture.
Maintain and audit driver records to ensure compliance with standards.
Provide customer service and administrative support, including filing and phones.
