Job summary

Attic Angel, Inc. in Dane County is seeking a friendly Bus Driver to keep residents connected to the community through safe, comfortable transportation for appointments, outings, and events.

You will support the Life Enrichment team by helping create meaningful experiences beyond our campus. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, a valid driver's license, and a patient, respectful approach to aging adults.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Courteous, patient approach when engaging with older adults.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and commitment to compliance.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport residents to and from scheduled activities.
• Stay alert to traffic, weather, and road conditions to ensure safety and comfort.
• Assist residents with boarding, securing mobility devices, and fastening seatbelts.
• Keep the bus clean, fueled, and in good operating condition with regular inspections.
• Work with the Life Enrichment team to plan and support off-site programs.
• Report maintenance needs, safety concerns, or resident issues promptly.
• Build positive, respectful relationships with residents, families, and staff.
