Akima Facilities Operations (AFO) is seeking a part-time bus driver to safely transport military personnel on Fort Sill Army installation, following time schedules and reporting delays or incidents. The role involves vehicle inspections, logging, and coordination with dispatchers to ensure timely deliveries.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading passengers, complying with safety regulations, and maintaining records.

Qualifikationen

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Must have current and valid CDL A or CDL B license.
• Clean driving record for past seven (7) years.
• Ability to pass a DoT physical.
• Valid and current medical card or insurance equivalent.
• Ability to pass Pre-Employment Drug Test and Background Screening.
• Ability to receive a favorable TIER-1 investigation result, obtain and maintain a CAC.
• Applicant must possess a REAL ID-compliant, state-issued driver’s license.
• Completed prerequisite training for Army MOS 88M – Motor Transport Operator is preferred.

Job Summary

Safely and compliantly drives 44 seat passenger bus to transport military passengers over specified routes to local points on Fort Sill Army installation, according to time schedule. Regulates heating, lighting, and ventilating systems for passenger comfort. Complies with local traffic regulations, and reports delays or accidents to transportation motor pool (TMP).

Desired Qualifications

Physical Demands & Work Environment

• Include (but are not limited to) the ability to lift 60 pounds, pushing, pulling, carrying, stooping, bending, squatting, reaching, and operating in tiring positions.
• Periodic overtime, exposure to heat, dust, cold, and inclement weather conditions.
• Personal protective equipment (e.g., eye protection, gloves) may be required.

Pay & Benefits

• SCA $23/hour and $250 Retention bonus after successfully completing 90 days employment.
• Hours per Week– Part Time, approximately 29 hours a week.
• Shifts: Variable.
