Job summary

White Bear Lake Area Schools, ISD 624 is seeking a dependable school bus driver to transport students safely to and from school. A Class B license with school bus endorsement or the ability to acquire one, plus a High School Diploma or GED, is required; experience working with children is preferred.

The position is up to 5.25 hours per day, 173 days per year, start ASAP. Compensation is $28.00/hour under the Transportation Contract, with duties including following the Transportation Supervisor

• Experience working with children and reading maps preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive a school bus to pick up and deliver students.
• Follow directions from the Transportation Supervisor.

Description

Performs semiskilled work driving a school bus, picking up and delivering students to/from school, and related work as apparent or assigned. Work is performed under the general direction of the Transportation Supervisor. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily. Education Required

• High School Diploma or GED.

Experience Desired/Special Requirements

• School Bus license required.
• Experience in working with children, reading maps and driving a school bus. Potential hires must either have a class B license with a school bus and passenger endorsement or possess the ability to acquire one.
