Job summary

Westminster Oaks is currently seeking a full-time Bus Driver (up to 35 hours/week) with a valid CDL and passenger endorsement to plan and operate daily transportation for residents across designated routes within the community and to local points according to schedule.

The role requires safe vehicle operation, adherence to policies, and reliable daytime coverage. Prior shuttle or campus bus experience is a plus, and a clean Florida driving record is expected.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or better.
• Valid CDL with Passenger Endorsement.
• Florida driver’s license with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Transports residents on campus and assists with packages and meals as needed.
• Ensure safety and proper operation of Trams; report issues to supervisor; may assist with maintenance scheduling.
• Maintain Trams in good working order and clean; daily tram cleaning at end of shift.
• Assist residents in boarding and alighting from Trams.

Westminster Oaks is currently seeking a FT Bus Driver (up to 35hrs/wk) with valid CDL (with passenger endorsement) to schedule, plan, and organize the daily transportation service for the residents at the community over specified routes to local or distant points according to time schedule.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Comply with all applicable rules, policies, standards and guidelines related to employment with Westminster Services and its communities.

• Transports residents within the campus and assists management with the delivery of packages & meals as needed.
• Ensure safety and proper operations of the Trams; reports potential problems to maintenance requirement to direct supervisor. May assist with scheduling routine maintenance of the Trams.
• Responsible for maintaining the Trams in good working order and clean at all times. At the end of the shift will clean the Tram (daily task).
• Assist residents in safely boarding and getting off the Tram.

Employee must posses a valid CDL License with a Passenger Endorsement if driving any of the company buses or “street approved (or not) Trams” on city/state roads carrying residents or passengersin general.

Must posses a valid FL driver’s license free of driving violations or offenses.

One to three months related experienceand/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
