Job summary

Westminster Oaks is seeking a full‑time Bus Driver (up to 35 hrs/wk) with a valid CDL and passenger endorsement to schedule, plan, and organize daily transportation for residents across routes per the time schedule. A high school diploma or better is required, with a FL driver’s license free of violations.

Responsibilities include transporting residents, ensuring tram safety, maintaining trams, and assisting residents with boarding/alighting. Applicants must pass a background check; EOE.

Qualifications

• CDL with Passenger Endorsement required.
• Must possess a Florida driver’s license with no violations.
• 1–3 months related experience and/or training.
• High School diploma or better.
• Commercial Driver's License required.

• Ensure safety and proper operation of the Trams; report problems to supervisor and assist with scheduling routine maintenance.
• Maintain Trams in good working order and clean at all times; daily tram cleaning at end of shift.

Job description

Westminster Oaks is currently seeking a FT Bus Driver (up to 35hrs/wk) with valid CDL (with passenger endorsement) to schedule, plan, and organize the daily transportation service for the residents at the community over specified routes to local or distant points according to time schedule.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Comply with all applicable rules, policies, standards and guidelines related to employment with Westminster Services and its communities.

1. Transports residents within the campus and assists management with the delivery of packages & meals as needed.
2. Ensure safety and proper operations of the Trams; reports potential problems to maintenance requirement to direct supervisor. May assist with scheduling routine maintenance of the Trams.
3. Responsible for maintaining the Trams in good working order and clean at all times. At the end of the shift will clean the Tram (daily task).
4. Assist residents in safely boarding and getting off the Tram.

Experience

Preferred

• Employee must posses a valid CDL License with a Passenger Endorsement if driving any of the company buses or “street approved (or not) Trams” on city/state roads carrying residents or passengersin general.
• Must posses a valid FL driver’s license free of driving violations or offenses.
• One to three months related experienceand/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
