Job summary

Westmont Living in Fresno, CA seeks compassionate Lifestyle/Activities Assistant and Driver support. You will assist with activities, encourage resident participation, and help document programs.

You will also transport residents to medical appointments and events, while contributing to a warm, homelike community. Qualifications

• Experience or ability to transport residents safely and courteously.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities directed by Lifestyle Director.
• Encourage resident participation in planned activities.
• Assist with documenting and developing programs.
• Assist with arts and crafts activities.
• Transport residents to appointments, shopping, and events.
• Cultivate leisure time activities such as games and movies.
• Pass criminal record clearance and health screenings as required.

What we need from you:

• Assisting with activities as directed by Lifestyle Director.
• Encourage resident participation to develop and maintain residents’ fullest potential through planned activities.
• Assist with documenting and developing programs
• Assist with the Community’s arts and crafts activities.
• Transport residents safely to and from various locations such as: medical appointments, shopping, banks, activities and social events
• Cultivate leisure time activities such as games, puzzles, movies, etc.
• Must have criminal record clearance prior to initial presence in the community
• Must pass all health screen such as Physical, TB, Drug test
• Must have current basic first aid or obtain within first 30 days of hire.
