Job summary

Heartfelt Impressions Learning Center in Lake Orion seeks a caring Bus Driver to safely transport K-5 students to and from school. This part-time role requires a reliable, safety-minded individual with a clean driving record.

Schedule is Monday–Friday, 7:45am–9:30am and 3:00pm–4:45pm, in Clarkston, MI. Starting pay is $18 per hour, with CDL holders eligible for higher compensation. CPR/First Aid preferred or willing to obtain.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Clean driving record and ability to pass background check.
• CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
• Experience transporting children preferred.
• Valid license to drive with clean DMV record.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport children to and from school and activities
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Ensure children are properly secured and follow safety procedures
• Maintain route and transportation records
• Communicate professionally with families and teaching staff
• Keep the vehicle clean and organized

Are you a safe, dependable driver who enjoys working with young children? Heartfelt Impressions Learning Center in Lake Orion is looking for a caring and responsible Bus Driver to safely transport children in grades K-5 to and from their local elementary school.

Position Details

Status: Regular, part-time

Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:45am-9:30am and 3pm-4:45pm

Location: Clarkston, MI

Pay scale: Starting at $18/per hour

Essential Functions

• Safely transport children to and from school and activities


• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections


• Ensure children are properly secured and follow safety procedures


• Maintain route and transportation records


• Communicate professionally with families and teaching staff


• Keep the vehicle clean and organized

• Must be at least 18 years old


• Valid chauffeur's license (higher compensation for CDL holders)


• Clean driving record and ability to pass background check


• Experience transporting children preferred


• CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
