Job summary

Heartfelt Impressions Learning Center in Lake Orion, MI is seeking a caring and responsible Bus Driver to safely transport children in grades K-5 to and from their local elementary school.

Status: Regular, part-time; Schedule: Mon-Fri 7:30–9:30am and 2:45–4:30pm; Starting pay: $18/hour.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record; pass background check.
• CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
• Experience transporting children is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport children to and from school and activities.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Ensure children are properly secured and follow safety procedures.
• Maintain route and transportation records.
• Communicate professionally with families and teaching staff.
• Keep the vehicle clean and organized.

Are you a safe, dependable driver who enjoys working with young children? Heartfelt Impressions Learning Center in Lake Orion is looking for a caring and responsible Bus Driver to safely transport children in grades K-5 to and from their local elementary school.

Position Details

Status: Regular, part-time

Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:30am-9:30am and 2:45pm-4:30pm

Location: Lake Orion, MI

Pay scale: Starting at $18/per hour

Essential Functions:

• Safely transport children to and from school and activities
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Ensure children are properly secured and follow safety procedures
• Maintain route and transportation records
• Communicate professionally with families and teaching staff
• Keep the vehicle clean and organized

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Valid chauffeur's license (higher compensation for CDL holders)
• Clean driving record and ability to pass background check
• Experience transporting children preferred
• CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
• Strong reliability and communication skills.
• Passion for supporting young children and families
• Punctual, organized with a positive attitude
