Job summary

Grandview School District is seeking a school bus driver to transport students on scheduled routes and excursions. You will ensure student safety, operate and maintain bus safety, and assist with loading and unloading at stops.

The role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, with CDL Class B, Bus Driver's Certificate and CPR/First Aid certifications preferred. This position is based in Grandview, WA and offers up to 5.25 hours per day with a hourly wage of $29.59.

What You'll Need:

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
• Experience: Job related experienceis desired.
• Minimum qualifications:Hold a high school diploma or its equivalent. Must have a valid CDL Class B, Bus Driver's Certificate and CPR/First AidCertificate. Adhering to safety practices; operating equipment used in transporting students and preparing and maintaining accurate records. Knowledge of safety and procedures, Motor Vehicle Code sections on student transportation; city streets and locations. Ability to communicate with diverse groups; maintain confidentiality, meeting deadlines and schedules; and working as part of a team.

Work Environment

The usual and customary methods of performing the job's functions require the following physical demands: occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling, some climbing and balancing, some stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling and some fine finger dexterity. Generally the job requires 80% sitting, 10% walking, and 10% standing. The job is performed under minimal temperature variations and in a generally hazard free environment.
