Job summary

Grandview School District is seeking a part-time bus driver to transport students on scheduled routes and special excursions. You will ensure vehicle safety, manage loading/unloading, and uphold strict safety standards in all transportation activities.

Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, valid CDL Class B, Bus Driver's Certificate, and CPR/First Aid certification. Prior related experience is desirable; you will work as part of a team and communicate with diverse groups.

• Experience: Job related experience is desired.
• Minimum qualifications: Hold a high school diploma or its equivalent. Must have a valid CDL Class B, Bus Driver's Certificate and CPR/First Aid Certificate.

What We Offer:

• Salary: $29.59per hour
• Hours per day: up to 2.5hours

What You’ll Need:

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
• Experience: Job related experienceis desired.
• Minimum qualifications:Hold a high school diploma or its equivalent. Must have a valid CDL Class B, Bus Driver's Certificate and CPR/First AidCertificate. Adhering to safety practices; operating equipment used in transporting students and preparing and maintaining accurate records. Knowledge of safety and procedures, Motor Vehicle Code sections on student transportation; city streets and locations. Ability to communicate with diverse groups; maintain confidentiality, meeting deadlines and schedules; and working as part of a team.

Work Environment
The usual and customary methods of performing the job's functions require the following physical demands: occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling, some climbing and balancing, some stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling and some fine finger dexterity. Generally the job requires 80% sitting, 10% walking, and 10% standing. The job is performed under minimal temperature variations and in a generally hazard free environment.
