Job summary

Wayne Central School District seeks a probationary bus operator to handle assigned routes and events. You will drive safely, supervise passengers, and follow the Transportation Supervisor's directions.

Applicants must be 21+, hold CDL/Class B or be eligible for training, meet Civil Service and DMV qualifications, maintain a clean driving record, and show ability to work with children, staff and community.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age.
• Hold current CDL license, Class B license or training is available.
• Satisfy Civil Service & DMV Article 19 Qualifications.
• Have a clean driving record.
• Demonstrates ability to work with children, staff and community.

• Drives a school bus on assigned route and/or special events.
• Responsible for the safety and conduct of passengers.
• Maintains records of mileage, routes, times and incidents.
• Works under direct supervision of the Transportation Supervisor.

Job description

Probationary appointment 6:15am-8:45am and 2:00pm-4:15pm
