Job summary

Wayne Central School District is seeking a probationary school bus operator to drive on assigned routes and special events in New York. The role carries direct supervision by the Transportation Supervisor and focuses on passenger safety and orderly conduct of students.

The operator will maintain mileage, route, time, and incident records while demonstrating the ability to work with children, staff, and the community.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age.
• Hold current CDL license, Class B license or training is available.
• Satisfy Civil Service & DMV Article 19 qualifications.
• Have a clean driving record.
• Demonstrates ability to work with children, staff and community.
