Job summary

Children of America is seeking a Bus Driver to safely transport children ages 6 weeks to 12 years between programs, while upholding safety and COA values. The role supports nurturing care and positive interactions with children and families across our centers.

Responsibilities include daily vehicle checks, following safety procedures, and representing COA with professionalism during all trips. A clean driving record and state regulations knowledge are required.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Knowledge of state and local transportation regulations.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Flexible with hours and work schedule.
• Experience in a licensed childcare facility preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport children in a bus or van between educational programs.
• Perform daily vehicle safety checks and ensure vehicle functionality.
• Implement company safety procedures with guidance from the School Director.
• Exhibit care, compassion, and patience with children.
• Provide a nurturing and safe transportation experience.
• Represent COA positively with children, families, and staff.

Minimum Requirements

Compensation

Hourly Rate: $15.00-$19.00 (based on experience, skills, location, and internal equity). This role may also be eligible for performance-based incentives and additional benefits.
