Job summary

Children of America is seeking a dedicated BUS DRIVER to safely transport children across our centers. You will perform daily safety checks, adhere to transportation regulations, and support our mission with patience and care.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• CDL Class A, B, or C with a passenger or school endorsement.
• Knowledge of state and local transportation regulations.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Flexible with hours and work schedule.
• Experience in a licensed childcare facility preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport children in a bus or van between educational programs.
• Perform daily vehicle safety checks and ensure vehicle functionality.
• Implement company safety procedures with guidance from the School Director.
• Exhibit care, compassion, and patience with children.
• Provide a nurturing and safe transportation experience.
• Represent COA positively with children, families, and staff.

As a Bus Driver, you play a vital role in safely transporting children while supporting our mission to enhance their developmental growth and learning experiences.

Minimum Requirements

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

Compensation

Hourly Rate: $24 - $26 Hourly (based on experience, skills, location, and internal equity) This role may also be eligible for performance-based incentives and additional benefits.
