Job summary

Children of America, Inc. is seeking a Bus Driver to safely transport children between educational programs and ensure daily vehicle safety checks. The role supports our mission by upholding safety procedures and demonstrating care and patience with young learners.

Qualified candidates will hold a valid driver's license with a clean record, knowledge of transportation regulations, and a high school diploma or equivalent. Flexible hours and childcare facility experience are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport children in a bus or van between educational programs.
• Perform daily vehicle safety checks and ensure vehicle functionality.
• Implement company safety procedures with guidance from the School Director.
• Exhibit care, compassion, and patience with children.
• Provide a nurturing and safe transportation experience.
• Represent COA positively with children, families, and staff.

As a Bus Driver, you play a vital role in safely transporting children while supporting our mission to enhance their developmental growth and learning experiences.

Minimum Requirements

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Knowledge of state and local transportation regulations

Compensation

Hourly Rate: $16-$17 per hour (based on experience, skills, location, and internal equity) This role may also be eligible for performance-based incentives and additional benefits.
