Job summary

Children of America, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Bus Driver to safely transport children between our educational programs across our campuses.

You will perform daily vehicle safety checks, follow COA safety procedures, and demonstrate care, patience, and reliability on every trip. This role requires a valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and flexibility with hours; 21+ years old preferred.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of state and local transportation regulations; flexible with hours.
• Experience in licensed childcare facility preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years old.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport children in a bus or van between educational programs.
• Perform daily vehicle safety checks and ensure vehicle functionality.
• Implement company safety procedures with guidance from the School Director.
• Exhibit care, compassion, and patience with children.
• Provide a nurturing and safe transportation experience.
• Represent COA positively with children, families, and staff.

Minimum Requirements

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Knowledge of state and local transportation regulations
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Flexible with hours and work schedule

Compensation

Hourly Rate: $15.00-$19.00 (based on experience, skills, location, and internal equity) This role may also be eligible for performance-based incentives and additional benefits.
