Job summary

Children of America, Inc. is seeking a reliable Bus Driver to transport children to and from programs in a safe, caring manner. You will perform daily safety checks, follow COA procedures, and represent the organization positively with families and staff.

The role requires a valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and the ability to work flexible hours. Experience in a licensed childcare setting is preferred, and you must be at least 21 years old.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport children in a bus or van between educational programs.
• Perform daily vehicle safety checks and ensure vehicle functionality.
• Implement COA safety procedures under guidance from the School Director.
• Exhibit care, compassion, and patience with children.
• Provide a nurturing and safe transportation experience.
• Represent COA positively with children, families, and staff.

Minimum Requirements

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Knowledge of state and local transportation regulations

Compensation

Hourly Rate: 23.00- $24.00 (based on experience, skills, location, and internal equity) This role may also be eligible for performance-based incentives and additional benefits.
