Job summary

Arc Herkimer is seeking a Bus Driver in the Town of Herkimer. Starting at $23 per hour, you will transport individuals safely, assist those with special needs, and ensure vehicle readiness. Full Time and Part Time positions available with 37.5 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old.
• Must hold a valid New York State Class B CDL or permit.
• Must meet all NYS DMV Article 19A requirements.

Responsibilities

• Transport individuals safely.
• Assist special needs individuals entering or exiting the bus.
• Maintain transport logs and vehicle cleanliness.
• Complete pre- and post-trip checks.

You can get out on the open road with Arc Herkimer!

Starting rate $23, Monday – Friday split shifts to full days, 37.5 hours per week. Optional overtime may be available. Full Time and Part Time positions available!

18+ years old, valid New York State Class B CDL, with passenger and school endorsements preferred. Will consider candidate with NYS Class B CDL license or permit.

Must be able to meet all NYS DMV Article 19A requirements.

Responsibilities

You’re the first face people with disabilities see in the morning, and the last face in the afternoon! As a Bus Driver, you:

• Transport individuals in a safe manner
• Assist individuals with special needs with entering or exiting bus
• Communicate with staff regarding emergent situations that may occur during transport
• Perform pre- and post-trip checks, keep transport logs, and maintain vehicle cleanliness
• Have an opportunity to complete community charters and contract trips
