Bus Driver: Education/Certification/Experience: High school diploma or equivalent; any combination of training and experience in the transportation industry.

Licenses and other Requirements:

• Valid California Driver's License, Class B/p/s
• Valid California School Bus Driver's Certificate
• No vehicle type restrictions
• Proof of driver's license and driving record must be submitted at time of hire
• Valid medical certificate issued by a District approved physician
• Subject to random drug testing
• First Aid and CPR Certificates or pass exam given by the Highway Patrol
• Driving record acceptable to the District's insurance carrier
• Complete background investigation as required by the California Highway Patrol

Desired Qualification: Public school fleet driving experience.

Start Date: This position begins as soon as possible, contingent on fingerprint clearance from the Department of Justice. Fingerprints will be taken at acceptance. Applicant is responsible for the fingerprinting fee. Payment is due at the time of service. Cash is not accepted. Fingerprint clearance does not pertain to current employees of the district.
