Job summary

Children of America, Inc. in Manassas, VA is seeking a dedicated Bus Driver to safely transport children across our early education programs.

You will perform daily vehicle safety checks, follow COA safety procedures, and provide a nurturing transportation experience for students ages 6 weeks to 12 years. Ideal candidates have a valid driver's license with a clean record, are at least 21, and can work a flexible schedule.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Knowledge of state and local transportation regulations.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Flexible with hours and work schedule.
• Experience in a licensed childcare facility preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport children in a bus or van between educational programs.
• Perform daily vehicle safety checks and ensure vehicle functionality.
• Implement company safety procedures with guidance from the School Director.
• Exhibit care, compassion, and patience with children.
• Provide a nurturing and safe transportation experience.
• Represent COA positively with children, families, and staff.

Minimum Requirements

Compensation

Hourly Rate: $17.00 (based on experience, skills, location, and internal equity) This role may also be eligible for performance-based incentives and additional benefits.
